I am glad to recommend Sandeep for math tutoring. My daughter has been attending Sandeep’s class since 7th grade. A friend recommended him to us. We feel we made a good decision. Sandeep teaches mathematics out of his passion for the subject and it shows in his students. When I asked my daughter about the class, she said while she learnt how to in regular class, she learnt why in Sandeep calls. I think that is very important. When one knows why, it makes the subject less daunting.

Sandeep has been working with our son, Jay, for about 5 years with his Math studies. In this amount of time, Sandeep has been able to review and reinforce the material presented in the classroom, greatly increasing Jay’s understanding and fluency with the material. Sandeep is very friendly, pleasant, and approachable, which puts anyone immediately at ease. Sandeep doesn’t give up until you understand which is great for students. He knows Math inside and out, and is extremely patient in explaining concepts as many times as needed, in different ways, until students understand. His one-on-one and Math circle classes are very useful to anyone who wants to go way and beyond. He has a way of simplifying things and shows you how to work out the problems. My son has been with Mr Sandeep since the 4th grade and he’s now in the 9th grade. Mr Sandeep is very caring and patient. He’s very straightforward and interesting when teaching, and always focused on helping the children understand the concept. He assigns weekly homework that also tests their knowledge, which I love. I would definitely recommend his classes to anyone looking for an extra boost for their child in math. Will definitely be staying with him for the foreseeable future.

Sandeep’s tutoring was incredibly helpful for me. I have always struggled with math, and Calculus 2 (integral calculus) in college was particularly challenging for me. I did not do very well on my first exam as I was taking other difficult courses at the same time, and I struggled to keep up with the math material. This was concerning as the class was required for my major, and my GPA was at risk. I even feared I might fail the class, or have to retake it, which would be costly. In a panic, I searched for an affordable and knowledgeable tutor. Sandeep offered his services without hesitation, and we began the tutoring sessions. Due to the remote learning format of this year, I was unable to ask my professor for in-person help and had limited time in his office hours where I could ask for help with homework problems.

The tutoring sessions with Sandeep helped me keep up with the college-level course, where a new textbook chapter section was taught each class period (with no class in between for review). He focused on the topics I struggled with most, and explained the theory behind difficult topics, then gave an overview of how to solve problems of that nature, followed by practice with problems that I had struggled with on my homework. I felt more comfortable asking Sandeep for help with homework problems than I did with my professor, who did not explain problems as thoroughly.

I saw an immediate effect on my grades with the following exam, where my grade raised significantly. My confidence grew in my ability to do well in the class. Sandeep and I continued the tutoring sessions throughout the semester, and not only did I pass the class, but I earned a grade in the class that boosted my GPA.
